Community rules
These rules apply on every wiki, on the forum, on profiles and in the support tickets. They help keep the network friendly and safe for everybody, including the youngest players. Breaking them can lead to a warning, a mute or a ban (see below).
Be kind
- Respect other players, editors and moderators. Disagree with ideas, never attack people.
- No harassment, threats, insults, bullying or pile-ons.
- No hate: nothing against anyone because of their origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other part of who they are.
Stay safe
- Never share personal information: real name, address, school, phone number, photos of yourself, social media accounts, passwords. Not yours, not anybody else's.
- Do not ask other users for such information, or to move to private chats.
- No sexual content, no flirting with other users, nothing that sexualises minors. This is reported to the authorities.
- No violent, gory or shocking content, no content encouraging self-harm. If you or someone else is in danger, contact the local emergency services.
Play fair
- No scams, phishing links, fake giveaways or "free Robux" offers.
- No selling, buying or trading of accounts, items or currency for real money.
- No cheats, exploits, hacked clients or malware, and no instructions to use them.
- Respect the rules of the games and of the platforms they run on.
Edit the wiki well
- Write accurate, useful content. Say where information comes from when you can; mark uncertain values.
- No vandalism: do not delete content without reason, insert jokes or false information, or start edit wars. Discuss on the forum when you disagree.
- Do not copy content from other sites without permission. Upload only images you have the right to share.
- Protected pages can only be edited by trusted editors; ask on the forum if something there is wrong.
Post well on the forum
- Search before you post, pick the right board and game, use a clear title.
- No spam, flooding, advertising or off-topic posts in the help boards.
- Mark the reply that solved your question.
Report
Use the "Report" button when something breaks these rules. Do not answer trolls or reply with insults: report and move on. False or abusive reports are also against the rules.
Sanctions and appeals
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Content hidden | The content is hidden until a moderator reviews it, sometimes by the automatic filters |
| Warning | A message explaining which rule was broken |
| Mute | You can read but not post or edit for a while |
| Ban | No access to the account, for one wiki or the whole network, for a while or for good |
Serious breaches (threats, sexual content involving minors, sharing someone's personal information, scams) can lead to an immediate ban and a report to the authorities. You are always told why, and you can appeal within 6 months of the decision, from the link in the notification or by email to contact@awaitlab.com (see the Terms, section 6).
